1. What Path to Insure is — and isn't

Path to Insure is an independent insurance comparison and education platform. We are not an insurance company, agent, broker, or producer. We do not sell, bind, issue, service, or adjust insurance policies. Using this site does not create an agency, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and Path to Insure. When you click through to a partner or submit a lead form, any policy you ultimately purchase is issued by that licensed carrier or agent — not by us.

2. License to use the site

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial informational purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content or comparison data other than through publicly permitted means (e.g., our robots.txt-compliant crawl policy);
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the methodology behind our comparison engine or calculators;
• Submit automated, abusive, or excessive queries against our calculators or comparison tools;
• Use the site to build a competing product or service;
• Interfere with the site's security, availability, or normal operation.

3. Illustrative estimates, not quotes

Any number produced by a calculator or comparison tool on this site — including premium ranges, savings estimates, or coverage suggestions — is an illustrative estimate only, based on the methodology disclosed on that tool. It is not a quote, a bindable offer, or a guarantee of actual premium, eligibility, or coverage terms. Actual pricing and eligibility are determined solely by the carrier or agent you contact. Contact a carrier or licensed agent directly for a real quote.

4. Third-party links and partners

The site contains links to third-party carriers, partners, and affiliate networks. These third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the accuracy, availability, or pricing of any third-party site once you leave pathtoinsure.com. 5. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, comparison-engine methodology, and trademarks (including the Path to Insure name and logo) are owned by Path to Insure or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

If you submit content to us (for example, through a contact form or a future comment/review feature), you grant Path to Insure a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the site and responding to you.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Path to Insure and its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, calculators, or comparison results. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us to use the site (which, for most users, is zero, since access is free).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Path to Insure and its owners, employees, and partners from any claim, loss, or damage — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

9. Governing law and disputes
