Path to Insure

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 12, 2026 Effective date: July 12, 2026

This is a compliance template pending attorney review. It is written to cover the required-content checklist for this document type in genuine, plain-language detail, but it is not final legal text and has not yet been reviewed or approved by a licensed attorney. See docs/deliverables/A13-legal.md for the full compliance package and review status. Do not rely on this page as binding legal advice.

This page discloses Path to Insure's affiliate relationships, consistent with FTC guidance on endorsements and disclosures. It's the fuller version of the short disclosure notice you'll see next to comparison results, calculator CTAs, and carrier reviews throughout the site.

1. We earn commissions from some links

Path to Insure participates in affiliate and lead-generation partnerships with insurance carriers, brokers, and marketplaces. When you click certain links on this site, or when you submit a comparison or lead form and are connected with a partner, we may earn a commission or referral fee from that partner. This is a certain, structural part of how the relevant links and forms work on this site — not a vague possibility.

2. Where you'll see this disclosed

We disclose this relationship in the same viewport as the link or button it applies to — before you click — not only in this standalone page or the site footer. You'll see a short disclosure notice next to comparison-engine results, calculator recommendations, carrier review call-to-action buttons, and in emails that contain a partner link.

3. Does this affect your price?

We aim to work with partners in a way that doesn't add cost to your policy, but we are not yet in a position to guarantee that as a blanket claim across every partner relationship we may ever enter — commission structures vary by partner and are still being finalized. Rather than assert something we can't yet substantiate for every partnership, we'll update this section with a specific, accurate statement once our affiliate agreements are in place.

4. Inclusion is not an endorsement

A carrier or product appearing in our comparisons, calculators, or reviews — whether or not we earn a commission from it — is not an endorsement that it's the right fit for your specific situation. Our comparisons present options; they don't make the decision for you. See our full Disclaimer.

5. Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not determine which carriers we cover, how we describe them editorially, or how our comparison engine orders results. See our Editorial Policy for how we keep that separation, and our Disclaimer for the limits of what this site does and does not do.

6. Questions
